Originally completed in 1976, this continually expanding memorial honors professional firefighters and emergency medical personnel who were killed in the line of duty. The many components including the “Somewhere, Everyday” statue which epitomizes the courage and bravery displayed daily by professional firefighters, combine to create a tribute which is emotionally affecting. Needless to say, its beauty attracts visitors from all over the world each year.
